Things I've Learned...

I am thankful for my husband and our families.

I graduate from college in 13 days.

We move to our new apartment, out of state, in 9 days.

I have to have our home boxed and ready to load onto a moving truck in 8 days.

I need to take "days off" more often, I have enjoyed this break more than I can express.

I don't like packing, but I'm getting more and more excited about our move, and picking out our Christmas tree.

I can't wait to go to Lubbock.

I'm really good at making lists, I think our kitchen table is covered in them.

I don't like homework, and am getting more and more excited that after tomorrow is complete, I'll probably never have homework for myself, ever again.

My husband is patient, and for that I am beyond thankful, I sure love him.

That is all. :)

Happy Thanksgiving!

This past Thursday was our 4th Thanksgiving, but 1st one as a married couple, and I must say, it was by far our favorite! We spent the beginning of the day at Toby and Kris' and the last half of the day at my parents house. It was the first year my mom hosted Thanksgiving, and I think she did an incredible job. We planned our Black Friday extravaganza and decided who was going where. Normally our shopping team includes me and my mom and Gaybra and Jeff, but this year we recruited Dylan and Savannah. So with six, I must say we dominated. We split up, three and three and literally wiped out Walmart and Target, had breakfast by 7, and were back in bed by 8:00 am. It was quite a success! :) We are already planning our savings plan for next year! I hope you all had as wonderful a holiday as we did. We all have so many things to be thankful for!

On a down note, this is the first day after Thanksgiving that I haven't decorated for Christmas. That is something that has been pretty hard for me this year. Since we are spending our time packing and moving, we can't get our Christmas tree until we get to Amarillo. It's only a week and a half. Hopefully they will be on sale or something by then, so I will at least have that to be happy about! :)

Amarillo Here We Come...

What is Amarillo, Texas?

It is the 15th largest city in Texas.

It is the home of Cadillac Ranch.

It is home to the BIG TEXAN Steak Ranch Restaurant. It serves a 4.5 pound steak for free, if you can eat the whole thing and all of it's sides it in one hour. Whoop?

Regardless, we're on our way December 9th. Dylan got offered a job at KFDA channel 10 news in Amarillo, Texas as a Sports Anchor Reporter! We couldn't be more excited! Dylan is so amazing at his gift, and it only took one month and four days for someone to snatch him up. We haven't even graduated yet, so the fact that he has a job lined up is only a huge compliment to how wonderful he is! I'm definitely a proud wife!

We went last Tuesday to the big city, and found an apartment that is very similar to our home now, it just has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, so we will always be prepared for company. I hope everyone comes to stay. It's a four hour drive straight on I-40 West. We can't wait to host you all!

Marital Bliss...

Dylan and I have officially been married for one month. Wow! Time really does fly when you're having fun! It seems so crazy to me, but we truly are happier than we've ever been. I hope that this blog will help keep you all involved in our busy life.

The last month has been crazy. We've had the best day of our lives, honeymooned in heaven, came back to reality and settled into our apartment, carved pumpkins, went to an OU game, and are now trying to finish up our last 4 weeks of school! Whew it's been a whirlwind, but we just love it. Here are some pictures of our latest happenings! Enjoy! :)
